The Solar Games Announces Partners at Clinton Global Initiative
On Wednesday, September 24th, goodXgames’ launched The Solar Games as part of its Commitment to Action, “Gamifying Impact: Leveraging Entertainment for Energy Access, at the Clinton Global Initiative’s Annual Meeting 2014. goodXgames, inc. is the creator behind the impact investing, solar kart racing game, THE SOLAR GAMES. goodXgames is launching the first commitment of its kind because its the first video game studio member of Clinton Global Initiative.
By bringing a gamified approach to solving the energy crisis in Haiti and eventually Africa, India and Asia, goodXgames, Inc. allows the music, entertainment industry and global influencers the ability to brand into a game while helping the poorest communities in the world with the most suffering. goodXgames does this by investing 50% of profits of The Solar Games into microfinance, education and job training programs for communities without electricity access.
goodXgames’ partners were announced at a CGI press conference this week. One of the partners is LEILANI MUNTER, a biology graduate turned race car driver and environmental activist, named by Discovery as the #1 Eco Athlete in the World.
