Student Climate and Conservation Congress
I was recently accepted into the student climate and conservation congress, in which I was 1 out of 125 students in the entire country to get accepted. In June, I will get to travel to Washington DC to attend a week long conference with the other selected students. I will gain more knowledge and ideas to bring back and use in my own community, as well as share them with IDEAS.
IDEAS played a big part in my acceptance. A large portion of my accomplishments dealing with environmental concerns happened mostly because of IDEAS. It has opened me up to a whole new world of opportunities, and it is now apparent that it is paying off.
